In the last twenty years, with the advent of modern technologies, the world and thus the Republic of Croatia (here and after: RC) have been striving for a systematic and complete digitalization of their state system of public administration. The key year in the RC was 2009, when a new General Administrative Procedure Act was passed after more than fifty years. General Administrative Procedure Act in article 22 introduces a novelty in administrative procedure, which is the institute of a single administrative place or better known as a "one-stop shop". The purpose of this institute is to collect all requests for initiating administrative or other proceedings, which need to be conducted in order for the parties to exercise their right, in a single place, precisely to improve the efficiency of public administration and reduce unnecessary administrative costs. In the RC, the first form of one-stop shop appeared in 2004, with the establishment of the e-service Hitro.hr, which even today enables entrepreneurs to perform most of the necessary actions for founding companies in one place. The main result of the digitalization of public administration is visible in 2014 with the launch of the first comprehensive digital one-stop shop with a large number of available public services for citizens, e-Citizens. Today, it is used by more and more citizens and has significantly accelerated the way of work and efficiency of state administration. Like RC, the rest of the European Union member states are actively working on the digitalization of their public administration, precisely through the institute of a single administrative place. Very positive examples come to us from Austria and Hungary, whose e-services are used by more and more businesses and citizens.
