Abstract
Diskriminacija se može dogoditi svakom pojedincu, a isto tako i u svim područjima života. Prečesto su ljudi diskriminirani, samo zbog toga što su drugačiji od drugih, a predrasude su osnova za postojanje diskriminacije. Diskriminacija se može dogoditi svjesno, a ponekad se i nesvjesno događa. Bez obzira na motive ili razloge postojanja diskriminacije, ona je uvijek uznemirujuća i štetna za žrtve, kako u svakodnevnom životu, tako i na radnom mjestu. Ovaj rad predstavlja teorijski dio obrade teme. Cilj ovog rada je obrada pojma diskriminacije i što ona predstavlja, objašnjenje vrsta diskriminacije, te kako se pravno reguliraju područja zabrane diskriminacije.
Abstract (english)
Discrimination can occur to every individual, in all areas of life. Too often people are discriminated, just because they are different from others, the prejudice is the basis for existence of discrimination. Discrimination can happen consciously, and sometimes it happens unconsciously. Regardless of the motives or reasons for discrimination, it is always disturbing and harmful for victims, both in everyday life and in the workplace. This paper represent a theoretical part of this topic. The aim of this paper is to try to explain the concept of discrimination, with the focus on the types of discrimination and how to legally regulate areas of non-discrimination.
