Abstract
U središtu interesa ovog završnog rada nalazi se Europska komisija koja je detaljno razrađena kroz sastav i funkcioniranje iste. U radu je definirana Europska komisija kao jedna od značajnijih i za budućnost Europe veoma bitnih institucija. Naglasak je stavljen na dokument pod nazivom Bijela knjiga, koju je predstavila Europska komisija, a u kojoj su navedene i objašnjene smjernice za budućnost Europe, koja je suočena s brojnim izazovima kojima ne smijemo dopustiti da nas opterete. Cilj rada je na jednostavan i sažet način prikazati važnost Europske komisije kao institucije kroz prioritete koje planira ostvariti u određenom vremenskom razdoblju, kroz zakonodavne postupke, te zalaganje za bolju budućnost Europske unije.
Abstract (english)
In the center of interest of this final paper is the European Commission, which has been elaborated in detail through its composition and functioning. In this paper the European Commission is defined as one of the most significant and for the future of Europe of very important institution. The emphasis is placed on a document titled White Paper, presented by the European Commission, which outlined and explained the guidelines for the future of Europe, which faces a number of challenges that we must not allow us to engage in. The aim of the paper is to present, in a simple and concise manner, the importance of the European Commission as an institution through the priorities it plans to achieve in a given period of time, through legislative procedures, and the commitment to a better future for the European Union.
