Abstract
U radu će biti jasno definiran pojam ravnopravnosti spolova, pojam diskriminacije i oblici diskriminacije, kao i pravni okviri ravnopravnosti spolova. Pravni okvir očitovat će se kroz Ustav Republike Hrvatske, ali i kroz zakone. Nadalje, prikazat će se i institucionalni okvir, a u njemu se prikazuju pravobraniteljica za ravnopravnost spolova u Republici Hrvatskoj, ali i općenito institucija pučkog pravobranitelja. Nakon toga prikazat će se stanje u praksi putem izvješća, te će se na osnovi napisanoga donijeti zaključak.
Abstract (english)
The work will clearly define the notion of gender equality, the notion of discrimination and forms of discrimination as well as the legal frameworks of gender equality. The legal framework will be manifested through the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia, but also through the laws. Furthermore, the institutional framework will be presented and will include the Gender Equality Ombudsperson in the Republic of Croatia, as well as the general institution of the Ombudsman. After that, the situation in practice will be shown through the report and will draw a conclusion on the basis of the written report.
