Abstract
Tema ovog diplomskog rada je „Konstituiranje Republike Hrvatske“. Na idućim stranica ću izložit ću kratak pregled skoro pedesetogodišnje borbe hrvatskog naroda za samostalnu i nezavisnu Republiku Hrvatsku. Glavni fokus bit će usmjeren na ekonomske i političke odnose u Jugoslaviji toga doba. Nadalje, pažnja će biti usmjerena na odnose između svih konstitutivnih naroda, gospodarskog i političkog ugnjetavanja hrvatskog naroda, porast napetosti i nacionalizma, krvavi rat i konačni raspad Jugoslavije. Posebna pažnja bit će usmjerena na međunarodno priznanje, ali i mirovne inicijative radi integracije privremeno okupiranih područja Republike Hrvatske. Posljednje poglavlje odnosi se na pristupanje Hrvatske euroatlantskih integracijama kao glavnog cilja hrvatske integracijske politike.
Abstract (english)
The theme of this diploma paper is Creating and Establishing the Republic of Croatia. In the next pages, will give a concise overview of almost fifty years of Croatian struggle for independence. The main focus will be on economic and political relations in Yugoslavia this ages. A second focus will be on multinational relations between all constitutional nations, economic and political oppression of Croatian people, a rise of tensions, a rise of nationalism, bloody war, and final collapse. The final chapter of this graduate thesis will talk about Croatian's accession to the European Union and NATO as the highest priority of integration strategy.
