Abstract
Europa se stoljećima suočavala sa širenjem imigracija,a najznačajnije su bile one sa područja istočne i srednje Europe u zapadnu Europu te SAD, kao i dolazak brojnih imigranata iz istočne Azije. Danas se Europa opet suočava sa problemom imigracija i brojnim izazovima vezanim za politiku azila. Aktivnost imigracija povezana je sa ekonomskim i socijalnim stanjem zemalja, ratnim stanjem,, destabilizacija svjetskih financijskih tržišta i slično. Imigranti često napuštaju svoje zemlje i odlaze u razvijenije krajeve u traženju boljeg i kvalitetnijeg života. Imigracije unutar EU su sve snažnije,a različite zemlje imaju različite stavove prema masovnom priljevu imigranata,no ipak svi dijele ideju za što boljom, zajedničkom imigracijsko politikom koja je usmjerena na postizanje određenih gospodarskih i demografskih ciljeva svake zemlje.
Abstract (english)
Europe has been facing immigration challenges for centuries, with the most significant movements being those from Eastern and Central Europe to Western Europe and the United States, as well as the arrival of numerous immigrants from East Asia. Today, Europe is once again confronted with the issue of immigration and numerous challenges related to asylum policies. Immigration activity is linked to the economic and social conditions of countries, war situations, the destabilization of global financial markets, and similar factors. Immigrants often leave their home countries in search of a better and higher quality of life in more developed regions. Immigration within the EU is becoming increasingly stronger, and different countries have varying views on the mass influx of immigrants, but they all share the goal of establishing a better, unified immigration policy aimed at achieving certain economic and demographic goals for each country.
