Abstract
Predmet ovog diplomskog rada je inkvizicija u Europi i Hrvatskoj. U radu su obrađeni nastanak inkvizicije, njezin razvoj i kraj. Isto tako, rad obrađuje dodatne pojmove koji se vežu uz sam pojam inkvizicije, a to su: Vrste inkvizicije; Različite vrste sudskih postupaka te njihov razvoj; Utemeljitelji inkvizicije i njihovi najpoznatiji predstavnici; Uvođenje torture kao sredstvo iznude priznanja, kao i njezine vrste; Priručnici koje su inkvizitori koristili; Prikaz kako je nekoliko sudskih postupaka izgledalo u praksi.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this diploma paper is the Inquisition in Europe and Croatia. This paper deals with the origins of the Inquisition, its development and its end. Likewise, the work deals with additional concepts that are connected to the concept of the Inquisition itself, namely: Different types of the Inquisition; Different types of court proceedings and their development; The founders of the Inquisition and their most famous representatives; The introduction of torture as a means of extracting confessions, as well as its types; Manuals used by inquisitors; Presentation of how several court procedures looked in practice.
