Abstract
U radu će se definirati pojam dječjeg rada, prikazati njegovi uzroci i posljedice. Prikazat će se društveni fenomen dječjeg rada kroz povijest od razdoblja prije industrijske revolucije do danas. U radu će biti riječi i o diskriminaciji djece te će se navesti različiti načini zaštite djece od rada kroz međunarodne dokumente i organizacije. Riječ će biti o povijesti i razvijanju dječjeg rada, o povijesti međunarodne zaštite djece od dječjeg rada, zatim o uzrocima dječjeg rada, o međunarodnim dokumentima za zaštitu djece od dječjeg rada, o zakonskoj zaštiti djece od dječjeg rada u Republici Hrvatskoj. Rad će detaljno prikazati pojavu dječjeg rada kroz povijest do danas, njegove uzroke i posljedice te mehanizme zaštite.
Abstract (english)
The paper will define the concept of child labor, show its causes and consequences. The children's social phenomenon will be presented throughout history from the period before the industrial revolution to the present day. The paper will also talk about discrimination against children and various ways of protecting children from work through international documents and organizations will be mentioned. It will be about the history and development of child labor, about the history of international protection of children from child labor, then about the causes of child labor, about international documents for the protection of children from child labor, about the legal protection of children from child labor in the Republic of Croatia. The paper will present in detail the occurrence of child labor throughout history until today, its causes and consequences, and protection mechanisms.
