Abstract
Osobna iskaznica je elektronička javna isprava koju izdaju policijske uprave odnosno policijske postaje i njome hrvatski državljani dokazuju svoje državljanstvo, identitet, spol, datum rođenja i prebivalište na području RH. Zakon o osobnoj iskaznici temeljito razrađuje postupak izdavanja osobnih iskaznica kako za punoljetne osobe tako i za maloljetne osobe, za osobe lišene poslovne sposobnosti i osobe s invaliditetom. Posebne osobne iskaznice su vrsta osobnih iskaznica koje izdaje Ministarstvo vanjskih i europskih poslova, Diplomatski protokol te se izdaju osobama koje su taksativno navedene u Pravilniku o posebnim osobnim iskaznicama.
Abstract (english)
An identity card is an electronic public document issued by police administrations or police stations, with which Croatian citizens prove their citizenship, identity, gender, date of birth and residence in the territory of the Republic of Croatia. The Law on Identity Cards thoroughly elaborates the procedure for issuing identity cards both for adults and minors, for persons deprived of business capacity and persons with disabilities. Special identity cards are a type of identity card issued by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Diplomatic Protocol and are issued to persons listed in the Rulebook on special identity cards.
