Abstract
Diskriminacija predstavlja jedan od najčešćih problema s kojim se susreću osobe koje su različite po bilo kojoj osnovi. Iako postoje razni mehanizmi u borbi protiv diskriminacije, kao i izričite zabrane, nerijetko u svakodnevnom životu čujemo za razne slučajeve diskriminiranja osoba. Obzirom na stupanj razvijenosti današnjeg društva, kao i antidiskriminacijskog prava, postoje zaista čvrsti temelji da se različitosti počnu cijeniti i isticati, a ne degradirati. Svaki čovjek ima pravo na dostojanstvo i zaštitu istog. Isto vrijedi i za područje radnog prava, radnici imaju pravo na zaštitu dostojanstva na radnom mjestu, a postoji i zabrana diskriminacije radnika u raznim segmentima, što kod zapošljavanja, što kod ostalih procesa rada.
Abstract (english)
Discrimination is one of the most common problems faced by people who are different on any basis. Although there are various mechanisms in the fight against discrimination, as well as explicit prohibitions, we often hear about various cases of discrimination against people in everyday life. Considering the level of development of today's society, as well as anti-discrimination law, there are really solid foundations for diversity to begin to be appreciated and highlighted, rather than degraded. Every human being has the right to dignity and its protection. The same applies in labor law, employees have the right to protection of their dignity in the workplace, and there is also a ban on discrimination against workers in various segments, both in employment and in other work processes.
