Abstract
Predmet ovog diplomskog rada je radnopravni status profesionalnih nogometaša s naglaskom na slobodu kretanja radnika u Europskoj uniji, status nogometaša kao radnika u istoj, mobilnosti igrača, pravnim izvorima i mnogo čemu iz sfere rastuće grane sportskog prava. Razvitak sportskog prava nužan je radi sve većeg broja sporova i nejasnoća. Cilj rada je pojasniti uloge kako nogometaša tako i klubova u kontekstu transfera, raskida ugovora i ostalih pravnih poslova. Analiziraju se međunarodni i domaći pravni izvori, vrste i karakter ugovora između profesionalnih igrača i klubova kao i status profesionalnih nogometaša u Republici Hrvatskoj.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this thesis is the employement status of professional football players, with a focus on freedom of movement for workers in the European Union, the status of football players as workers in the EU, players mobility, legal sources and many more aspects of the growing field of sports law. The development of sports law is necessary due to the increasing number of disputes and uncertainties. The aim of this thesis is to clarify the roles of both players and clubs in the context of transfers, contract terminations and other legal transactions. International and domestic legal sources, types and characteristics of contracts between professional players and clubs, as well as the status of professional football players in the Republic of Croatia, are analyzed.
