The European Green Deal is the European Union's new growth strategy. It is an attempt to turn the European Union into a prosperous and rightfully society. A society that would have a competitive, modern and efficient economy. Likewise, an economy that will not be the primary emission of greenhouse gases and whose economic growth will not be related to the use of resources in 2050. The European Green Deal was adopted in 2019 and as such is in line with the Paris Agreement. It can be said that this plan is the Communication of the Commission to the European Council, the European Parliament, the Committee of the Regions and the European Social and Economic Committee. The Council and the European Council play very important roles in the European Green Deal. Furthermore, the Common Agricultural Policy is considered one of the most important and current policies of the European Union. Likewise, agriculture suffered great consequences during the COVID-19, which are still being felt today. One of the key measures in the framework of the European Green Plan by the Commission is the "farm to fork" strategy. It was presented in May 2020 and aims to redirect the existing food system of the European Union towards a sustainable model and contribute to achieving climate neutrality by 2050. The European Green Deal and the agricultural policy of the European Union are an important segment in the maintenance and thus the progress of agriculture and the economy.
