Abstract
Participacija i zajednički rad s ljudima neka su od osnovnih načela profesije socijalnog rada, a znače uključivanje ravnopravno i jednako sudionika procesa u zajednički rad. Uključivanje djeteta u donošenje odluka o vlastitom životu i mogućnost sudjelovanja djeteta u kreiranju podrške ili pomoći za njega, a u procesu udomiteljstva, glavna je tema diplomskog rada. Istraživanje je provedeno u Hrvatskoj, sa socijalnim radnicima koji rade na poslovima udomiteljstva, a cilj je prikupiti spoznaje o načinima uključivanja djeteta u proces udomiteljstva prilikom izmještanja djeteta iz obitelji. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da je praksa participacije djeteta i mogućnosti koje su za dijete osigurane, u smislu da izrazi svoje mišljenje, da se dijete pita koje su mu potrebe ili ga se informira, prisutni u radu socijalnih radnika u procesu udomiteljstva uz određena ograničenja. Ograničenja su vidljiva u radu s djecom mlađe dobi, ukoliko primarna obitelj nije spremna na suradnju ili u radu s djecom s poteškoćama u razvoju i s djecom s invaliditetom. Ujedno, potrebna su znanja i vještine od strane stručnjaka za razgovor s djetetom, pristup djetetu i znanja o pravima djeteta.
Abstract (english)
Participation and joint work with people is one of the basic principles of the social work profession, and it means involving equally and equally all participants in the process in joint work. The inclusion of the child in making decisions about his own life and the possibility of the child's participation in creating support or help for him, and in the foster care process, is the main topic of the thesis. The research was conducted in Croatia, with social workers who work in foster care, and the goal is to gather knowledge about ways to include a child in the foster care process when a child is removed from the family. The results of the research show that the practice of child participation and the opportunities provided for the child, in terms of expressing his opinion, asking the child what his needs are or informing him, are present in the work of social workers in the foster care process with certain limitations. Limitations are visible in work with younger children, if the primary family is not ready to cooperate or in work with children with developmental difficulties and children with disabilities. At the same time, expert knowledge and skills are required for talking with the child, accessing the child and knowledge about the rights of the child.
