Abstract
Da pišem o zaštiti prava djeteta i ostvarivanju najboljeg interesa djeteta kao najranjivije skupine društva odabrala sam za svoj završni rad, jer je to prvotna zadaća koja se može povezati i istražiti uz čvrstu osnovu Konvencije o pravima djeteta, kao i zbog toga jer su u današnjim vremenima dječja prava zakinuta i nerealizirana. O pojmu djeteta, zaštiti prava djeteta te međunarodnom i nacionalnom okviru zaštite prava djeteta pisat ću u prvom i drugom dijelu svoga rada, dok se treći dio odnosi na opći pojam pravobranitelja za djecu i institucionalni okvir zaštite prava djeteta. U petom pak dijelu bit će riječi o nekim specifičnim područjima zaštite prava djeteta kao što su zdravlje, nasilje, škola. Ono što je za početak najbitnije je da je Konvencija o pravima djeteta međunarodni dokument koji detaljno opisuje prava djece koja države članice moraju poštivati i omogućiti svakom djetetu.
Abstract (english)
I chose to write about the protection of children's rights and the best interests of the child as the most vulnerable group in society for my final work, because it is an original task that can be linked and explored with a solid foundation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. children's rights denied and unrealized. I will write about the concept of the child, the protection of children's rights and the international and national framework for the protection of children's rights in the first and second parts of my paper, while the third part deals with the general concept of the Ombudsman for Children and the institutional framework. The fifth part will discuss some specific areas of protection of children's rights such as health, violence, school. What is most important to begin with is that the Convention on the Rights of the Child is an international document detailing the rights of children that Member States must respect and enable for every child.
