Abstract
Rad se bavi pravima nacionalnih manjina, te se u tom kontekstu analizira sam pojam i njegov povijesni razvoj u komparativnoj perspektivi u Republici Hrvatskoj. Usporedit će se prava nacionalnih manjina u Republici Hrvatskoj s drugim europskim državama. Opisat će se međunarodni i domaći pravni okvir kojim su regulirana prava nacionalnih manjina. Nabrojat će se prava i slobode koje nacionalne manjine imaju u Republici Hrvatskoj. Zaključno će se opisati tijela za zaštitu prava nacionalnih manjina u Republici Hrvatskoj te problemi s kojima se nacionalne manjine susreću i mogućnosti njihove zaštite.
Abstract (english)
The subject of my thesis is based on the rights of national minorities, which in that context offers an analysis of its concept and its historical development in a comparative perspective in the Republic of Croatia. A comparison of the rights of national minorities in the Republic of Croatia and those in other European countries will be presented in this thesis. The international and domestic legal framework governing the rights of national minorities will be discussed. The rights and freedoms that national minorities have in the Republic of Croatia will be listed. In conclusion, the bodies resposinble for the protection of the rights of national minorities in the Republic of Croatia will be described, as well as the problems national minorities face and the possibilities of their protection.
