Abstract
U uvodnom dijelu se navode reforme Ivana Mažuranića koje se bave pitanjem položajem žena i proširenjem prava glasa žena. U središnjem dijelu se navodi obrazovanje, koje je bilo izuzetno važno za djevojke jer je bilo propisano obvezno školovanje ženske djece. Prvi školski zakon je nastao u Republici Hrvatskoj u razdoblju Ivana Mažuranića. Brojne promjene u školstvu, potaknule su veći interes za napretkom. Naposljetku, navodi se uvođenje austrijskog građanskog zakonika kao jednog od najvažnijih vidova modernizacije.
Abstract (english)
The introductory part outlines Ivan Mazuranic’s reforms addressing the situation of women’s voting rights. In the central part, education is mentioned, which was extremely important for girls because compulsory education of female children was prescribed. The first school law was created in the Republic of Croatia in the period Ivan Mazuranic. Numerous changes in education have spurred greater interest in progress. Finally, it cites the introduction of the Austrian Civil Code as one of the most important aspects of modernization.
