Abstract
Odgoj i obrazovanje u Republici Hrvatskoj temelje se na jednakosti obrazovnih šansi za sve prema njihovim sposobnostima te na visokoj kvaliteti u usavršavanju svih nositelja odgojno-obrazovnih djelatnosti. Obrazovanje je proces stjecanja znanja, vještina, vrijednosti i navika, a njegove obrazovne metode omogućuju osposobljavanje, podučavanje te usmjereno istraživanje. U Republici Hrvatskoj sustav obrazovanja obuhvaća četiri razine, a to su predškolski odgoj, osnovno obrazovanje, srednje obrazovanje i visoko obrazovanje. U radu je analiziran obrazovni sustav u Republici Hrvatskoj i Europi te način financiranja pojedinih stupnjeva obrazovanja, kako kod nas, tako i u ostalim europskim zemljama. Definiran je pojam obrazovanja i objašnjen razlog zbog čega je ulaganje u obrazovanje postalo bitan čimbenik u današnjem svijetu.
Abstract (english)
Education in the Republic of Croatia is based on the equality of educational opportunities for everyone according to their abilities and high quality in the training of all stakeholders of educational activities. Education is a process of acquiring knowledge, skills, values and habits. The methods of education enable training, tecahing and focused research. There are four levels of education in Croatia: preschool education, primary education, secondary education and higher education. In this paper is analysed education system in Croatia and in other EU countries. The method of financing individual level of education, both in our country and in other EU countries. The concept of education is defined and the reason, why investing in education has become an important factor in today world, is explained.
