Abstract
Nasilje nad djecom jedan je od najraširenijih problema današnjice. Djeca kao najranjivija skupina našeg društva često su na meti zlostavljača koji su najčešće osobe s kojima imaju posebnu emocionalnu povezanost. Snažna emocionalna povezanost koja stvara ugodu i sreću naziva se privrženost. Obitelj se smatra najsigurnijim mjestom za život, sigurnim utočištem i mjestom za siguran rast i razvoj. Svjedoci smo sve češćih i većih problema unutar obitelji, razlog tome je ubrzan stil života, stres, ekonomska kriza i posljedice traumatskih događaja u djetinjstvu. Upravo zbog toga sve češće dolazi do nasilja unutar obitelji gdje su žrtve djeca. Činjenica je da svaki član obitelji može biti žrtva nasilja, ali i nasilnik. Djeca zbog svoje privrženosti i emocionalne povezanosti ne prijavljuju nego štite roditelje zlostavljače zbog osjećaja straha, stida i nemoći. Odrastajući u narušenim obiteljskim odnosima djeca uče loše obrasce ponašanja te naposljetku i sami u budućnosti i sami mogu postati nasilnici. Potrebno je podići svijest o raširenosti problema nasilja nad djecom te pružiti pravovremenu i primjerenu zaštitu i podršku
Abstract (english)
Violence against children is one of the most widespread problems today. Children as the most vulnerable group in our society are often targeted by abusers who are the most often people with whom they have a special emotional connection. A strong emotional connection that creates comfort and happiness is called attachment. The family is considered the safest place to live, a safe haven and place for save growth and development. We are witnessing more and more frequent problems within the family, the reason for which is the accelerated lifestyle, stress, economic crisis and the consequences of traumatic events in childhood. This is why domestic violence is increasingly common, where the victims are children. The fact is that every family member can be a victim of violence, but also a bully. Children, because of their attachment and emotional connection, protect abusive parents from feelings of fear, shame and helplessness. Growing up in broken family relationships, children learn bad patterns of behaviour and eventually become bullies themselves in the future. There is a need to raise awareness of the prevalence of violence against children and to provide timely and appropriate protection and support.
