Abstract
Javna prometna infrastruktura i prometna povezanost važne su odrednice razvoja RH kako na državnoj tako i na regionalnoj i lokalnoj razini jer omogućuju brže i kvalitetnije kretanje ljudi i roba. Aspekt prometne povezanosti u tom je smislu od iznimne važnosti za atraktivnost visokih učilišta budućim studentima. Isto tako, studenti su populacija koja uglavnom raspolaže vrlo ograničenim budžetom te je važno sufinancirati između ostalog i troškove javnog prijevoza studenata unutar mjesta studiranja, ali i između mjesta studiranja i mjesta prebivališta studenata. U Osječko-baranjskoj i Brodsko-posavskoj županiji studentima su dostupne višestruke mogućnosti sufinanciranja troškova javnog željezničkog i autobusnog prijevoza. U sjedištima županija, gradovima Osijeku i Slavonskom Brodu postoji organiziran javni gradski prijevoz omogućeno koji u pravilu za redovite studente sufinanciraju gradovi ili općine, a na području Osijeka pod posebnim uvjetima i Sveučilište J. J. Strossmayera u Osijeku.
Abstract (english)
Public transport infrastructure and transport connections are important determinants of the development of the Republic of Croatia at the national, regional and local levels because they enable faster and better movement of people and goods. In this sense, the aspect of transport connections is extremely important for the attractiveness of higher education institutions to future students. Also, students are a population that generally has a very limited budget, it is important to co-finance, among other things, the cost of public transport of students within the place of study, but also between the place of study and the place of residence of students. In Osijek-Baranja and Brod-Posavina counties, students have access to multiple options for co-financing the costs of public rail and bus transport. In the county headquarters, the cities of Osijek and Slavonski Brod, there is organized public city transport and the cost of it for full-time students is frequently co-financed by cities or municipalities, and in the area of Osijek under special conditions by the J. J. Strossmayer University in Osijek.
