Transport is an indispensable and very important factor of economic and social development, with the development of which unfortunately but exponentially grows and its harmful impact on the environment, thus directly threatening the health of man, but also of the animal and flora. Traffic-related pollution also contributes to global disruption, such as global warming, ozone depletion, etc. Unfortunately, only a few decades ago, man became aware of the negative but powerful impact of transport on the environment, the findings of recent decades indicate that we have serious concerns if let us make no significant effort to reduce such a trend of destruction and neglect of the environment and natural resources. Transport as an economic activity of the tertiary sector has a positive impact on economic and regional development by ensuring the mobility of people and goods. The greatest environmental damage is caused by road and air transport, especially for the reason that they are the most developed and common form of transport of modern times. Efforts are in the future to build such a transport system that their impact is reduced by improving other branches of transport and introducing integrated transport networks. Improper urban sprawl has complicated and hindered the proper scheduling and organization of public urban transport. So, for example, there is a disproportionate amount of maintenance to lines operated by a bus carrying one passenger, which of course brings unnecessary and unreasonable costs, and ultimately causes greater environmental pollution. Road traffic pollutes the environment every day, especially air, water and soil, causing noise, occupying green spaces, vital parts, and causing visual degradation of natural and urban space.
