Abstract
Predmet ovoga rada je analiziranje uzroka nezaposlenosti u Republici Hrvatskoj i osvrt na posebno ranjive skupine na tržištu rada kao što su žene, mladi, te osobe starije životne dobi. Autorica se u ovom radu koristila obrađivanjem podataka Hrvatskog zavoda za zapošljavanje. Polazna hipoteza rada bila je kako je do visoke nezaposlenosti u Republici Hrvatskoj došlo ponajviše zbog ratnih zbivanja koja su bila teret hrvatskom gospodarstvu i godinama nakon njegovog završetka, te vođenje krive ekonomske politike od osamostaljenja koja nije pratila kretanja na tržištu rada i kapitala. Polazna hipoteza je u radu potvrđena.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to analyze the causes of unemployment in the Republic of Croatia and to look at particularly vulnerable groups in the labor market, such as women, young people and elderly people. The author used this paper to process data from the Croatian Employment Service. The underlying hypothesis of the work was that high unemployment in the Republic of Croatia was mainly due to war events that were burdensome for the Croatian economy and years after its end and the management of a flawed economic policy since independence, which did not follow trends in the labor market and capital. The starting hypothesis has been confirmed in the paper.
