Abstract
Mobing je oblik ponašanja na radnom mjestu u kojem jedna osoba ili skupina ljudi sustavno psihički zlostavlja i ponižava drugu osobu s ciljem ugrožavanja njezina ugleda, časti, ljudskoga dostojanstva i integriteta sve do uklanjanja s radnog mjesta. Žrtva mobinga trpi značajne zdravstvene, socijalne i ekonomske posljedice. Kao posljedica toga, u poslovnom svijetu, javlja se smanjena radna učinkovitost, narušen odnos s klijentima, pogoršanje položaja na tržištu, ali i veliki novčani gubitci. Sve to dovodi do povećanja troškova u gospodarstvu, pogotovo u zdravstvenom i mirovinskom sustavu, ali i zbog sve većeg broja parnica i radnih sporova. Mobing je pojava koja postoji od samih začetaka ljudskih organizacija, a u posljednjih dvadesetak godina dolazi do sve veće njezine učestalosti. Psihološko zlostavljanje na radnom mjestu treba suzbiti donošenjem zakona protiv zlostavljanja, u kojem se definira mobing, zatim širim društvenim akcijama i edukacijama te korištenjem medijacije kao iznimno korisnog mehanizma protiv mobinga.
Abstract (english)
Mobbing is a form of workplace behavior where one person or a group systematically psychologically abuses and humiliates another person with a purpose of compromising their reputation, honor, human dignity and integrity until being removed from the workplace. The victim of mobbing suffers significant health, social and economic consequences. In terms of the company, there are reduced work efficiency, impaired customer relationship, deteriorating market position and high monetary losses. All this leads to an increase in costs in the economy, especially in the health and pension systems, and due to more litigation and labor disputes. Mobbing is a phenomenon that exists from the very begginings of human organisations, and in the last 20 years this became more and more frequent. Psychological abuse in the workplace should be suppressed by adopting an anti-mobbing law, which sets out the definition of mobbing, then with a broader social action and education, and using mediation as an extremely useful anti-mobbing mechanism.
