Abstract
U radu se promatra Ustavni sud Republike Hrvatske u cijelosti, njegove nadležnosti i djelokrug, izbor sudaca Ustavnog suda, postupanje, odnos Ustavnog suda i Europskog suda za ljudska prava. Ustavni sud je institucija ustanovljena Ustavom RH koja jamči njegovo poštivanje i primjenu. Djelovanje Ustavnog suda, postupanje, nadležnosti, djelokrug, sastav i izbor sudaca Ustavnog suda su uređeni Ustavnim zakonom o Ustavnom sudu Republike Hrvatske. Ustavne odluke su obvezne za sve, što znači da su obvezne i za ostale sudove. Temeljni pravni izvori su Ustav Republike Hrvatske, Ustavni zakon o Ustavnom sudu Republike Hrvatske i Poslovnik Ustavnog suda.
Abstract (english)
Subject of this paper is Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, his jurisdiction, domain, election of Constitutional judges, proceedings and relationship of Constitutional Court with European court of human rights. Constitutional court is institution established by the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia that interprets and guards Croatian Constitution. Competences of Constitutional court, proceedings, jurisdiction, domain, composition and election of Constitutional judges are regulated by the Constitutional Act on the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia. Constitutional rulings are obligatory for everyone which means that they are obligatory for every court in the Republic of Croatia. Fundamental legal acts are Constitution of the Republic of Croatia, the Constitutional Act on the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia and the Rules of Procedure of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia.
