Abstract
Raspadom Austro-Ugarske Monarhije 1918. godine došlo je do niza promjena na gospodarskom i političkom planu, a Kraljevina Srba, Hrvata i Slovenaca morala se suočiti sa velikim gospodarskim razlikama. Kao posljedica agrarne reforme je proizašla najveća afera, okončana vrlo kompleksnim sudskim procesom. Union des usines et des exploitationis forestieres de Nasic. A.s. u to je vrijeme bila je najveća kompanija za eksploataciju i obradu drveta u Europi, a u Hrvatskoj joj je ogranak bila „Našička tvornica tanina i paropila d.d.“ Nezakonito poslovanje „Našičke d.d.“ dovelo je do 1 000 osumnjičenika i uhićenja više od 100 što državnih službenika što običnih radnika. Iskorištavajući društvene i političke prilike, utajila je porez, izbjegavala plaćanja taksi, prilagođavala si zakone te korupcijom ostvarivala da dođe do onoga što joj je potrebno ili onoga što želi izbjeći. Predmet ovoga rada su političke okolnosti koje su dovele do ovakvih prijevara države, a koje je, djelomično, i sama država omogućila. Potvrđuje se široko uvjerenje da je korupcija u državnim službama uvijek postojala te da će je uvijek biti.
Abstract (english)
With the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy in 1918 there have been a number of changes in the economic and political plan due to the State of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes had to face great economic differences. The agrarian reform had resulted with biggest scandal which ended with very complex court process. Union des usines et des exploitationis forestieres de Nasic. A.s. was the largest company for the exploitation and processing of wood in Europe at that time and in Croatia „Našička tvornica tanina i paropila Inc.“ was a branch of that company. Illegal operations of "Našička Inc." led to the 1 000 suspects and arrest of more than 100 civil servants and ordinary workers. Taking advantage of the social and political situation the company embezzled tax, avoided paying taxes, adapted laws and used corruption in order to get what suits them or what they wanted to avoid. The subject of this paper is political circumstances that led to such a fraud, which in part, the state itself made possible. It also confirms the wide belief that corruption has always existed in civil services and it always will.
