Abstract
Predmet diplomskog rada odnosi se na zaštitu trudnica na tržištu rada s posebnim naglaskom na radnopravni status trudnica i majki koje doje dijete, njihov položaj pri zapošljavanju i tijekom trajanja radnog odnosa te pravne akte kojima se uređuje položaj trudnih radnica na tržištu. Cilj rada je objasniti problematiku zapošljavanja trudnih žena, njihov položaj te diskriminaciju koja se temelji po različitim osnovana, konkretno, spolu. Što se tiče pravne zaštite, doneseno je niz zakona koji reguliraju pitanje zapošljavanja trudnica i njihov položaj u radnom odnosu ali i implementirane su brojne Direktive koje se odnose na status trudnica. U radu se na početku spominje položaj žena na tržištu rada te se govori o diskriminaciji, no kroz cijeli rad protežu se pravni izvori zaštite materinstva, te općenito trudnih žena.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this Graduate thesis is related to the protection of pregnant women on the market for work with special caution on work related status of pregnant women and mothers that are still breastfeeding their child, their position when they have been hired and during the time they have been working and legal acts with which is their position being improved. The goal of the thesis is to try and explain the problem of hiring pregnant women, their position and the discrimination that is founded on many different basics, usually gender. Regarding the protection of the law, a line of laws has been introduced which regulate the question of hiring pregnant women and their position in the work enviroment but there have been implimented a number of directives that relate to the status of the pregnant women. In the beging of the thesis there are mentions of the position of women on the market for work but then it is told about the discrimination, through the whole thesis there are mentions about the legal sources of protection of the motherhood and the pregnant women.
