Abstract
U 21. stoljeću problem ovisnosti o alkoholu je jako poznat i aktualan socijalni problem s kojim se nosi sve veći broj ljudi. Ovisnost o alkoholu medicinski se definira kao bolest koja ne utječe samo na pojedinca pogođenog ovim problemom kao što ljudi često smatraju nego je to bolest koja pogađa i obitelj tog pojedinca, a struka socijalnog rada se slaže s tom definicijom, ali u fokus rada stavlja korisnika, a ne samu bolest i problem. Kao jedan od načina djelotvornog rada prema prevenciji prekomjernog konzumiranja alkoholnih pića i ostvarivanja apstinencije postavlja se upravo grupni rad kao jedna od metoda socijalnog rada. Cilj ovog završnog rada je analizirati vrste grupnog rada koje socijalni radnik može koristiti u radu s osobama s problemima ovisnosti o alkoholu, kako one djeluju i na koji način socijalni radnik najbolje djeluje kroz njih i pomaže osobama u grupnom radu. Na temelju analize različite literature daje se odgovor na postavljeni cilj i zapravo grupni rad kao takva metoda pokazuje se izrazito djelotvoran i dovodi osobe s problemima ovisnosti o alkoholu na željeno stanje apstinencije.
Abstract (english)
In the 21st century, the problem of alcohol addiction is a well-known and active social problem that more and more people have to deal with. Alcohol addiction is medically defined as a health problem that, contrary to popular belief, does not only affect addicted people. It is a problem that affects the addict's entire family. Social work agrees with this definition, but places the person at the centre of the work rather than the health problem itself. An affective method to prevent excessive alcohol consumption and achieve abstinence is group work, which is one of the methods of social work. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse what types of group work social workers can use in their work with people with alcohol problems, how they work, how social workers work with them and how best to help these people. The answer to the set goal is defined by analysing various scientific literature that shows that group work is indeed very effective as it leads people with alcohol problems to their desired state of abstinence.
