Abstract
Ovaj rad istražuje važnost grupne pripadnosti i ulogu grupnog rada u zadovoljenju te potrebe s posebnim naglaskom na emocionalno blagostanje i razvoj pojedinca kroz metodu grupnog rada. Prikazuje se kako grupni rad može biti koristan alat za socijalne radnike i pojedince u kasnoj životnoj fazi, starosti te kako može potaknuti razvoj ključnih vještina. Analiziraju se različite vrste grupa pri čemu se ističe njihova jedinstvenost i prilagodljivost potrebama članova. Posebna pozornost posvećena je povezanosti između grupnog rada i socijalnog rada, a ponajviše o važnosti grupnog rada za starije osobe te sve one koji s njima surađuju. Rad dublje istražuje pojam ranjivosti, razliku između starosti i starenja te potrebu starije populacije za podrškom. Dalje, istraživanje je usmjereno na specifične izazove i promjene s kojima se osobe starije životne dobi suočavanju. Prikazuje se kako je moguće kroz grupni rad pružiti podršku, osnažiti i pozitivno utjecati na živote brojnih osoba starije životne dobi. Ističe se važnost prilagodbe grupnog rada potrebama sudionika radi osiguranja sigurnog i podržavajućeg okruženja. Ključne vještine za vođenje grupa ne samo namijenjenih za osobe starije životne dobi, nego i ostalih članova zajednice, analiziraju se uz planiranje, zajedničku osviještenost te empatiju. Cilj ovog rada je istražiti kako grupni rad može poboljšati kvalitetu života osoba starije životne dobi, identificirati mogućnosti, prednosti i izazove grupnog rada te definirati vještine potrebne za uspješan rad s osobama starije životne dobi.
Abstract (english)
This paper explores the importance of group belonging and the role of group work in fulfilling this need, focusing on the emotional well-being and development of the individual through the method of group work. It demonstrates how group work can be a useful tool for social workers, late life and older people and how it can support the development of key skills. The different types of groups used in group work are analysed, highlighting their uniqueness and adaptability to members' needs. Particular attention is paid to the link between group work and social work, especially the importance of group work for older people and all those who work with them. The paper elaborates on the concept of vulnerability, the difference between age and ageing and the need for support from older people. In addition, the research focuses on the more difficult challenges and changes that older people face. They show how it is possible to support, empower and positively influence the lives of many older people through group work. It emphasises the importance of tailoring group work to the needs of participants to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Key skills for leading groups not only for older people but also for other members of the community are analysed with planning, shared awareness and empathy. The aim of this paper is to explore how group work can improve the quality of life of older, to identify the opportunities, benefits and challenges of group work and to define the skills required to work successfully with older people.
