Nowadays, when the development of technique and technology is at its peak, it is impossible not to wonder how it affects the legal system of not only individual countries, but legal systems in general, and how legal systems adapt to such rapid technological development. One of the answers to such and similar questions can be given precisely through the presentation of contracts concluded via the Internet. It is clear that concluding a contract with the so-called click of the mouse speeds up and facilitates the conclusion itself, but also leads to other benefits, which were recognized by both contracting parties, so it is not surprising that the conclusion of such contracts has become a daily routine. Precisely because of all the benefits that such a contract brings, three types of adhesion-type contracts have been developed, the conclusion of which is greatly facilitated, and whose characteristics bring with them an increased demand for the conclusion of these types of adhesion contracts via the Internet. When mentioning the adhesion type of contract, it is important to point out that this is a type of contract in which bought involved parties, hence the offeror of the contract and the party to the contract, enter into a contract in such a way that the party does not change or decide on the provisions of the contract, but only agrees to what the offeror offers. Likewise, in addition to the classic provisions of the contract, the general terms of the contract also apply to the aforementioned contractual relationship, and what is important for all three versions of adhesion contracts concluded via the Internet, where the general terms of the contract affect the possibility of distinguishing individual version of the contract. We are therefore talking about shrink-wrap contracts, clickwrap contracts, and browse-wrap contracts, the conclusion of which is not regulated by the Law on Obligations, nor by any other special law, yet which are ubiquitous in legal practice and which are concluded every day in increased volume.
