Abstract
Novi javni menadžment u visokoobrazovnom sustavu predstavlja suvremeni pristup upravljanju visokim obrazovanjem koji se fokusira na efikasnost, transparentnost i odgovornost. Tradicionalni modeli upravljanja sveučilištima i školskim ustanovama općenito polako se transformiraju s ciljem bolje prilagodbe zahtjevima današnjeg društva i brzim promjenama tehnologije i ekonomije. Nadalje, ključne značajke ove doktrine u visokoobrazovnom sustavu uključuju decentralizaciju, fleksibilnost, autonomiju učilišta te povećanu suradnju sa industrijom i javnošću. Istovremeno, pristup potiče sveučilišta da se usmjere prema tržištu i društvenim potrebama te da budu inovativnija u pristupima nastavi, istraživanju i pružanju usluga obrazovnog karaktera. Naposlijetku, ovaj pristup odgovara zahtjevima modernog društva i pomaže visokim obrazovnim institucijama da budu relevantne i konkurentne u današnjem dinamičnom okruženju.
Abstract (english)
New public management in the higher education system represents a modern approach to higher education management that focuses on efficiency, transparency and responsibility. Traditional management models of universities and educational institutions in general are slowly being transformed with the aim of better adapting to the demands of today's society and the rapid changes in technology and economy. Furthermore, the key features of this doctrine in the higher education system include decentralization, flexibility, autonomy of colleges and increased cooperation with industry and the public. At the same time, the approach encourages universities to orient themselves towards the market and social needs and to be more innovative in approaches to teaching, research and provision of educational services. Ultimately, this approach meets the demands of modern society and helps higher education institutions to be relevant and competitive in today's dynamic environment.
