Suicide is defined as an act in which a person consciously kills himself with his own motivation. If a person fails in what he set out to do and manages to survive, it is a suicide attempt. It is believed that suicide is the second most common cause death among young people aged between 10 and 25 years old. The modern theory of suicide indicates that some suicides are the result of the desire to escape from a destructive image on oneself, more precisely one's own shortcomings and failures. Circles of danger or vulnerability include groups of people who need crisis intervention, namely direct victims, their closest relatives and eyewitnesses and members of the rescue services. When providing support to people during crisis events, it is necessary to focus on a comprehensive approach and not only on a critical incident stress debriefing, while the unfavorable effects of a critical incident stress debriefing are left as a basis for additional research due to insufficient research. The crisis intervention carried out at the school level consists of eight prescribed activities, more precisely visit to the school and an introductory intervju with the responsible person, group interviews with students, group interviews with the teachers' council, meetings with parents, interviews with individuals, distribution of leaflets, supervision situations after crisis intervention and the preparation of reports after the completed work. According to the results of the research, there is a need to develop the roles of school psychologists and expand programs related to strategies for the prevention and intervention of crisis events.
