Abstract
Za djetetov rast i razvoj ključna je adekvatna skrb i briga. Svako dijete ima pravo odrastati u primarnoj obitelji. Međutim, ako je unutar primarne obitelji ugrožen djetetov rast i razvoj potrebno je dijete zaštititi. Izdvajanje djeteta iz obitelji posljednja je mjera zaštite djeteta. Svrha te mjere je zaštita djeteta, njegovog života i interesa. Dijete se, nakon izdvajanja iz primarne obitelji, smješta u jedan od alternativnih oblika smještaja. Prilikom smještaja, jedna od važnih stvari je uzeti u obzir potrebe djeteta kako bi se našao najbolji mogući smještaj koji zadovoljava djetetove potrebe. Alternativni oblici smještaja se dijele na institucionalne i izvaninstitucijske. U ovom se radu razmatraju pojmovi vezani uz alternativne oblike skrbi o djeci. U radu se razjašnjava proces izdvajanja djeteta i smještaja u oblik alternativne skrbi.
Abstract (english)
Child care and welfare is essential for child's growth and development. The right of every child is to grow up in a primary family. However, if its growth and development are compromised, it's necessary to protect the child. The last measure is separation from the family. The purpose of that measure is to protect the child, his life and interests. After being separated from the primary family, the child is placed in one of the alternative forms of accommodation. One of the important things needed to be taken account of is to find the best possible accommodation that meets the child's needs. Alternative forms of accommodation are divided into institutional and non-institutional. This thesis discusses concepts related to alternative care in children. The paper clarifies the process of separating the child and placing them in a form of alternative care.
