Abstract
Pravo na priziv savjesti proizlazi iz prava na slobodu mišljenja, savjesti i vjeroispovijedi koje je zajamčeno Ustavom Republike Hrvatske, ali i međunarodnim konvencijama. No priziv savjesti nije apsolutno pravo već se može ograničiti. Ograničenja prava priziva savjesti predstavljaju aktualnu temu sa svih aspekta gledišta: pravnih, filozofskih, vjerskih i medicinskih. Iako se pravo na priziv savjesti prije najčešće spominjalo kod vojne službe, danas se spominje u kontekstu prekida trudnoće. Iz tog razloga će autor diplomskog rada usporedno analizirati pravo na priziv savjesti i pravo na pobačaj, te njihov odnos i međusobna ograničenja. Važno je naglasiti kako autor zadržava objektivnost tijekom pisanja i ukazuje na probleme koje izaziva nedostatna regulacija ovog pitanja.
Abstract (english)
The right to conscientious objection derives from the right of freedom of thought, conscience and religion, which is guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia, but also by international law. But the appeal of conscience is not an absolute right, it can be limited. The limitations of the right to appeal to conscience are a current topic from all aspects of the point of the view: legal, philosophical, religious and medical. Although the right to appeal to conscience, firstly was mentioned in connection with military service, today it is mentioned in the context of termination of pregnancy. For this reason, the author of the thesis will comparatively analyze the right to appeal to conscience and the right to abortion, as well as their relationship and mutual limitations. It is important to emphasize that the author maintains objectivity while writing and points out the problems caused by insufficient regulation of this issue.
