Abstract
Temeljni cilj ovog rada je upoznati čitatelje s opasnostima kojima su djeca izložena prilikom svakodnevnog i višesatnog korištenja Interneta te kako postoje mnogobrojne posljedice ukoliko se djeca odluče okušati u rizičnim ponašanjima na Internetu. Upoznati smo kako djeca više vole provoditi vrijeme u virtualnom nego u stvarnom svijetu te su u radu prikazani utjecaji sadržaja kojem dijete svjedoči koristeći raznu dostupnu tehnologiju kojoj pristupa s raznih mjesta u kući ili u školi. Nadalje, obrazložena je razlika u komunikaciji između djece i roditelja te adolescenata i roditelja uz čimbenik korištenja Interneta te je dostupan prikaz na koji način Kazneni zakon Republike Hrvatske odgovara na po djecu štetna ponašanja na Internetu. Također, ističe se i ključna uloga roditelja i ostalih važnih dijelova djetetovog društvenog života u stvaranju sigurnog virtualnog okruženja.
Abstract (english)
The main goal of this paper is to acquaint the readers with the dangers children are exposed to when using the Internet daily and for several hours, and how there are numerous consequences if children decide to engage in risky behavior on the Internet. We learned that children prefer to spend time in the virtual world rather than in the real world, and the paper shows the effects of the content that the child witnesses using various available technologies that he accesses from various places at home or at school. Furthermore, the difference in communication between children and parents and adolescents and parents is explained in addition to the factor of Internet use, and an overview is available of how the Criminal Code of the Republic of Croatia responds to behaviors harmful to children on the Internet. Also, the key role of parents and other important parts of a child's social life in creating a safe virtual environment is emphasized.
