Abstract
Starenje stanovništva demografski je izazov sa kojim se susreće sve više zemalja svijeta, posebice europskog razvijenijeg dijela. Zbog ubrzanog načina života i pojava novih tehnologija, starije osobe se susreću sa raznim izazovima koji utječu na njihovu svakodnevicu te mogu biti rezultat sve manje uključenosti u društvo. Često se nalaze na marginama društva te nije isključena pojava nekog od oblika diskriminacije ili problematike siromaštva. Stoga je zadaća svake države u kojoj se pojave isti ili slični problemi vezani uz izazove isključenosti ili diskriminacije starijih osoba, osigurati provedbu adekvatnih programa. Upravo je sustav socijalne skrbi usmjeren na potrebe starijih osoba, u cilju pokazatelja adekvatne uključenosti i zadovoljenja adekvatnog stupnja potreba starijeg stanovništva. Cilj ovoga rada je analizirati trendove demografskog starenja stanovništva u Republici Hrvatskoj, Sloveniji i Njemačkoj, uz naglasak na komparativni prikaz sustava socijalne skrbi u izabranim zemljama, a radi osiguranja bolje kvalitete života.
Abstract (english)
Population aging is a demographic challenge that are facing more and more countries in the world, especially European more developed parts. Due to the accelerated lifestyle and the emergence of new technologies, older people are facing various challenges that affect their daily lives and could result in being less involved in society. They are often on the margins of society, and the occurrence of some form of discrimination or poverty is not ruled out. Therefore, it is the task of each state in which the same or similar problems related to the challenges of exclusion or discrimination of the elderly occur, to ensure the verification of adequate programs. It is the social welfare system that focuses on the needs of the elderly, to indicate adequate inclusion and meet the adequate level of needs of the elderly population. This paper aims to analyze the trends of demographic aging of the population in the Republic of Croatia, Slovenia, and Germany, with emphasis on a comparative overview of social welfare systems in selected countries, to ensure a better quality of life.
