Abstract
Zaštitu osobnih podataka možemo definirati kao skup pravila koja nam dozvoljavaju ili priječe davanje osobnih podataka o određenim osobama. Slijedom navedenog možemo reći da su ista kao takva jako bitna za rješavanje niza predmeta kako u Ministarstvu unutarnjih poslova tako i u cijeloj državnoj upravi Republike Hrvatske. U Republici Hrvatskoj zaštita osobnih podataka uređena je Zakonom o provedbi Opće uredbe o zaštiti podataka, a Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka brine za nadzor nad obradom osobnih podataka kao samostalno i neovisno tijelo. Ovaj rad također donosi pregled primjene zaštite osobnih podataka u Ministarstvu unutarnjih poslova, točnije u Službi za upravne poslove, Odjel za prijavništvo i osobne isprave.
Abstract (english)
We can define the personal data protection as a set of rules that allow or prevent us from providing personal data about certain persons. Following the above, we can say that as such they are very important for resolving a number of cases both in the Ministry of the Interior and in the entire state administration of the Republic of Croatia. In the Republic of Croatia, personal data protection is regulated by the Act on the Implementation of the General Regulation od Data Protection, and the Agency for Personal Data Protection takes care of the supervision of personal dana processing as an independent body. This paper also provide an overview of the application of personal dana protection in the Ministry of the Interior, more precisely in the Office for Administartive Affairs, the Department for Registration and Identity Documents.
