Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada je Zaštita majčinstva u hrvatskom radnom pravu. U samom uvodu rada navedeni su glavni problemi s kojim se žene često susreću prilikom zapošljavanja kada je u pitanju uloga majke. Rad započinje s pravnim okvirima koji štite majku od negativnih utjecaja unutar radnog odnosa u našoj državi i izvan granica. Problem seže u daleku prošlost kada žene nisu imale pravo glasa te kad su bile podređene muškarcima i vlasti. Jedno poglavlje se bazira na sam uzrok problema s kojim se i danas društvo suočava. Od toga kreće sami problem diskriminacije žene u ulozi majke i radnice te koja su njezina prava, kome se obratiti u slučaju diskriminacije te na koji način se regulira noćni rad žena, radno vrijeme trudnica, rodilja, dojilja i majki koje imaju djecu s težim poteškoćama u razvoju. Roditeljski i rodiljni dopusti i potpore su regulirani posebnim zakonom kao i sama zaštita djeteta unutar pravnog okvira u hrvatskom zakonodavstvu. Naposlijetku se nalaze rezultati i analiza provedenog istraživanja u svrhu izrade završnog rada.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this final paper is Maternity Protection in Croatian labor law. The very introduction to the paper lists the main problems that women often face when hiring when it comes to the role of mother. The paper begins with legal frameworks that protect the mother from negative influences within the employment relationship in our state and abroad. The problem dates back to the distant past when women did not have the right to vote and were subordinate to men and the authorities. One chapter is based on the very cause of the problem that society still faces today. This raises the problem of discrimination against women in the role of mother and worker and what are her rights, who to turn to in case of discrimination and how to regulate night work of women, working hours of pregnant women, mothers, nursing mothers and mothers with children with severe development disabilities. Parental and maternity leave and benefits are regulated by a special Act, as well as the protection of the child within the legal framework in Croatian legislation. Finally, there are the results and analysis of the research conducted for the purpose of preparing the final paper.
