Abstract
Europska unija kao zajednica dvadeset i osam zemalja ističe se kao zajednica koja potiče harmoniju, usklađivanje, djelovanje po zajedničkim vrijednostima, jedinstveno europsko tržište i zajednički život. Hrvatska je članica te zajednice od 2013. i od tada ostvaruje razne prednosti zahvaljujući članstvu. Između ostalog, Europska unija svojim članicama pripomaže raznim sufinanciranjem i sredstvima, koje raspodjeljuje pomoću fondova. U tome ni Hrvatska nije iznimka, a sredstva od Europske unije, Hrvatska je koristila i prije službenog članstva. Tako je prvenstveno koristila sredstva tokom ratnog razdoblja, zatim za oporavak i na posljetku, sada kada je članica, koristi ih za daljnji napredak i konkurentnost. Stoga je glavni predmet ovog rada bio prikazati što su to fondovi Unije i čemu služe, te kako i zašto Hrvatska povlači sredstava iz njih, te koliko je u tome uspješna. Cilj rada je prikazati sve značajke korištenja fondova Europske unije u Hrvatskoj i kako oni doprinose hrvatskom napretku i boljitku hrvatskih građana. U radu je prikazan put Hrvatske do korištenja fondova Europske unije, te pozitivni primjeri kojim se Hrvatska može pohvaliti. Nadalje, rad prikazuje perspektive i mogućnosti korištenja fondova u budućnosti, kako bi Hrvatska i dalje ostvarila prednosti i postala konkurentnijom na europskom i svjetskom tržištu.
Abstract (english)
The European Union as a community of twenty-eight countries stands out as a community that promotes harmony, action at shared values, a single European market and a shared life. Croatia has been a member of this community since 2013, and has since gained various benefits through membership. Among other things, the European Union is assisting its members with various co-financing and funds, which it distributes throughout funds. Croatia is no exception to this, and it even used the EU funds before it became a member. Thus, she primarily used the funds during the war period, then for recovery and finally, now that she is a member, she uses them for further progress and competitiveness. Therefore, the main subject of this paper was to show what Union funds are and how and why Croatia withdraws funds from them, and how successful it is. The aim of the paper is to present all the features of the use of EU funds in Croatia, and how they contribute to the Croatian progress and well-being of Croatian citizens. The paper presents Croatia's path to using EU funds, as well as positive examples of which Croatia can boast. Furthermore, the paper presents the perspectives and possibilities of using the funds in the future, in order for Croatia to continue to gain advantages and become more competitive in the European and world markets.
