Abstract
Adolescencija je razdoblje u životu čovjeka koji počinje od desete, a traje do dvadeset i druge godine. U ovom razdoblju u tijelu mlade osobe događa se mnogo psihofizičkih promjena, a budući da je to i doba dokazivanja nezaobilazna je pojavnost vršnjačkog nasilja. Ono se definira kao namjerno činjenje određenih mjera kojima bi se povrijedila druga osoba, a najčešće je to fizičko nasilje kod dječaka, a verbalno kod djevojčica. Zabrinjavajuća je činjenica kako većina djece u adolescentnoj dobi bar jednom postane žrtva nasilja. Danas se najviše koristi elektronično nasilje među vršnjacima. Kako bi se pokušalo spriječiti nasilje među djecom Ustav Republike Hrvatske zajedno s „Deklaracijom o pravima djeteta“ i UN-ovom „Konvencijom o pravima djeteta“ štiti prava djece. Razvijeni su i brojni drugi programi poput: Olweusovog programa prevencije nasilja, „Steps to respect“ zatim program „Stop nasilju nad djecom“ te Program aktivnosti za sprječavanje nasilja među djecom i mladima.
Abstract (english)
Adolescence is a period in a person's life that begins at the age of ten and lasts until the age of twenty-two. During this period, a lot of psychophysical changes take place in the body of a young person, and since this is also the time of proving ili attestation, the occurrence of peer violence is inevitable. It is defined as the intentional taking of certain measures that would injure another person, and most often it is physical violence in boys, and verbally in girls. It is a worrying fact that most adolescent children become victims of violence at least once. Today, electronic violence among peers is used the most. In order to try to prevent violence among children, the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia, together with the "Declaration of the Rights of the Child" and the UN "Convention on the Rights of the Child", protects the rights of children. Numerous other programs have been developed, such as the Olweus Violence Prevention Program, the Steps to Respect Program, the Stop Violence Against Children Program, and the Program for Activities to Prevent Violence among Children and Youth.
