Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada je „Strateško upravljanje u komunalnim tvrtkama u Republici Hrvatskoj“. U radu će se prikazati povijesni osvrt na komunalne djelatnosti u Republici Hrvatskoj te kako su komunalne djelatnosti definirane kao gospodarske djelatnosti. Strateško upravljanje velik je i opsežan proces koji će se objasniti u ovom radu i to svaku etapu upravljanja posebno, a koje bi se trebale provoditi u tvrtkama kako bi poslovanje bilo uspješno. Svaka etapa strateškog upravljanja promatrati će se iz pogleda komunalne tvrtke i pri tome će se iznijeti mišljenje i osvrt – provode li se određeni postupci i procesi u tvrtki, koje procese treba izgraditi ili primijeniti više nego li do sada, zašto određene tvrtke „stoje u mjestu“, a određene rastu i to one koje su svjesne postojanja tržišne konkurencije iako su prividno tržišni monopolisti. U radu će se prikazati prijedlozi na koje sve načine bi se komunalna tvrtka trebala okrenuti strateškom upravljanju i koje poslovne procese treba promijeniti, a koje uvesti i krenuti u određenoj etapi od početka.
Abstract (english)
This final paper examines strategic management in Croatian public utility companies by offering an overview of the development of utility services in Croatia and exploring its categorization as an economic activity. Strategic management – a vast process comprising multiple stages – is examined in detail through all its stages, with particular focus on public utility companies. The paper also reviews companies’ processes and explores which require improvement or more implementation, as well as why some companies are “at a standstill”, while others – specifically, those well aware of competition despite appearing as incumbent – continually grow. The paper will propose ways in which public utility companies may turn to strategic management and which business processes require alterations or introduction and a fresh start in certain stages.
