Doing office work electronically is more and more present in our lives and is an unavoidable way of communication. The development of the e-Government is monitored by the regulations that are set at the level of the European Union and the Republic of Croatia and it is necessary to follow the regulations of the European Union which is increasingly influencing the development of e-Government among its members. In the Republic of Croatia, the Tax Administration, as an administrative organization within the Ministry of Finance, and the Commercial Court within the Ministry of Justice and Administration, are rapidly adapting their operations electronically and their ultimate goal is to establish a paperless office. The single Tax Administration portal (eTax-STAP) is the central place where taxpayers can access the electronic services of the Tax Administration according to the principles of the One-Stop-Shop. The Ministry of Justice and Administration is also permanently and systematically digitalizing business processes within the system as one of a many measures aimed at modernising the judiciary and administration offices. The Ministry of Justice and Administration has its own databases and electronic services, some of which are publicly available. The exchange of data between the Tax Administration and the Commercial Court takes place through the application of distraint. The distraint application receives data from the e-Bulletin board. The document created by the employees of the Tax Administration is sent to the County State's Attorney's Office, represented by the Ministry of Finance, and it will be possible to send the same to the Commercial Court electronically when the technical preconditions are met.
