Abstract
Predmet ovog rada je analiza saziva Europskog parlamenta s naglaskom na razdoblje nakon ulaska Republike Hrvatske u Europsku uniju. Zbog toga je metoda analize bila najčešće korištena, a korištene su bile i metode klasifikacije, deskripcije, kompilacije te povijesna metoda. U radu se utvrdilo kako je struktura izabranih zastupnika iz Republike Hrvatske vrlo slična onoj na razini cijele Europske unije. Također je utvrđeno kako u razdoblju od ulaska u Europsku uniju slabi pozicija najjače europske stranke, čiji će se položaj ipak donekle popraviti nakon izlaska Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva iz Europske unije. Upravo napuštanje Europskog parlamenta od strane navedene zemlje dovesti će do preraspodjele odnosa snaga između političkih stranaka i zemalja u Europskom parlamentu, pa će tako i Republika Hrvatska povećati udio u ukupnom broju zastupnika. Također su utvrđene velike oscilacije u aktivnosti zastupnika koji su do sada predstavljali našu zemlju u Europskom parlamentu.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this paper is analysis of the convocation of the European parliament with the accent on the period after Republic of Croatia access the European union. Because of that reason, the most used method was analysis, together with methods of classification, description, compilation and historical method. In this paper one of conclusions is that structure of the elected representatives from Republic of Croatia is very similar to the structure on the level of European union. It was also determined that in the period after Croatian’s access to European union the position of the strongest European political party is weakening, but with upcoming improvement after leaving United Kingdom of the European union. Because of that fact it will be redistribution of the power between political parties and countries in European parliament, so Croatia will increase the share in total representative number. Also, this paper found big differences in the activity of Croatian’s representatives who have represented our country so far.
