Abstract
Predmet ovog rada su NUTS regije u Republici Hrvatskoj. NUTS regije u Republici Hrvatskoj ili NKPJS - Nacionalna klasifikacija prostornih jedinica za statistiku Državnog zavoda za statistiku Republike Hrvatske odnosi se na teritorijalnu podjelu Republike Hrvatske za statističke potrebe, prema europskoj „Nomenklaturi prostornih jedinica za statistiku“. Regije su podijeljena na ovaj način kako bi se učinkovitije pratilo korištenje sredstava iz Strukturnih fondova EU. U izradi rada korištene su prvenstveno istraživačke metode. Proučavanje definicija podjela na regije i zakonskih propisa o načinu tih podjela, vrsta regija prema tumačenjima raznih autora te izvođenje zaključaka iz provedenih statističkih analiza.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this paper are the NUTS regions in the Republic of Croatia. NUTS regiona in the Republic of Croatia or NKPJS - The National Classification of Spatial Units for Statistics of the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Croatia refers to the territorial division of the Republic of Croatia for statistical purposes, according to the European Nomenclature of Spatial Statistical Units. The regions are divided in this way to make more efficient use of funds from the EU Structural Funds. In the course of the work, research methods were used. To study the definition of the division into the regions and legal regulations on the manner of these divisions, the types of regions according to the interpretations of various authors and the conclusion of conclusions from the statistical analyzes carried out.
