Abstract
Sud Europske Unije institucija je Europske Unije koja osigurava tumačenje prava na području Unije te njegovu primjenu kroz suradnju s državama članicama odnosno nacionalnim sudovima. Sa sjedištem u Luxembourgu predstavlja sudbenu vlast EU, sa sastavom kojeg čini po jedan sudac iz svake države članice. Sud čine Sud, Opći sud te specijalizirani sudovi. Nadležnost Općeg suda prostire se za sve iz nadležnosti Suda Europske unije osim za dva postupka, a to su prethodni postupak i postupak protiv države članice. Raspustom Službeničkog suda 2016. godine, obavljen je prijenos nadležnosti na Opći sud u svezi odlučivanja u prvom stupnju o sporovima između Unije i njezinih službenika. Postupci pred sudom sastoje se od pisanog i usmenog djela i besplatni su. Sud EU donosi i objavljuje Godišnje izvješće koje se sastoji od dva dijela naziva Pravosudna aktivnost i Izvješće o upravljanju, te također objavljuje Godišnji pregled, koji sažima Godišnje izvješće.
Abstract (english)
The European Court of Justice is a European Union institution which provides for which provides for the interpretation of Union law and its application through cooperation with Member States, ie national courts. Located in Luxembourg, is represented by the EU judiciary, with a composition composed of one judge from each member state. The Court is composed of the Court, the General Court, and specialized courts. The jurisdiction of the General Court extends to all of the jurisdictions of the European Court of Justice except for two proceedings, the former proceedings and proceedings against a Member State. In 2016 the Civil Service Tribunal was dismissed, and the transfer of jurisdiction to the General Court was made with regard to the first instance decision on disputes between the Union and its officials. Proceedings before the Court consist of written and oral works and are free of charge. The Court brings and publishes an Annual Report consisting of two parts, entitled Judicial activity and Management report, and it also publishes an annual review that is summarizing the annual report.
