Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu prikazan je život žene na našim područjima na prijelazu iz 19.tog u 20.stoljeće, u raznim grana prava, od njenog života u obiteljskoj zajednici, kao majka i supruga pa do obrazovanja koje je pomoglo i otvorilo put dobivanja prava glasa. prikazan je način sklapanja braka te njegova rastava, ali i položaj žene nakon rastave braka te u položaju nasljednice, kada je dolazilo do zakonskog ili oporučnog nasljeđivanja. Prava žena ovisila su o uređenju privatnopravnog i bračnoimovinskog režima, te o uređenju kućnih zadruga, koje su tada bile izrazito značajne. Kaznenopravne odredbe davale sujasnu sliku o ženinom položaju u društvu te reakciju javnosti na zločine, bilo da je žena bila počiniteljica ili žrtva. Naposlijetku, kroz borbu za obrazovanjem, te otvaranjem škola, žene su utrle put ka dobivanju prava glasa što je u konačnici dovelo gotovo do jednakopravnog položaja žena i muškaraca.
Abstract (english)
This diploma paper shows what life of a Croatian woman had looked like at the turn of 19th to 20th century, in various branches of law, varying from her family life, as a mother and a wife, to getting access to an education, which ultimately paved the way to getting the right to vote. It shows the way a marriage, and a divorce had been set, but it also shows social standing of a woman after the divorce, and as an inheritress when a legal or testimonial inheritance took place. Women rights depended on the arrangement of the legal and matrimonial regime, and on the arrangement of house communities, which held great importance at the time. Crime law regulations gave clear picture which status women held in the society, along with public reactions to crimes, wether a woman was the perpetrator, or the victim. At last, through their battle for access to an education, along with opening all-women schools, women paved the way to getting the right to vote, which ultimately resulted in men and women being legally equal.
